VITAL CONNECTIONS
VITAL CONNECTIONS
HARVEST
And so, during one night, the spirit of each child materialized from the light, came to life and inhabited from a distance a place that for several months lost the ability to host life and reap new memories.
His school became an architectural ghost container of memories and memories, the presence of the body, the trace of the human, the trace of the inhabited was marked in those spaces, and although it is not yet possible to return in person, the virtual presence of the The body is the closest that we have as a society to encounter as a vital act in times of pandemic.
The culmination of the project occurs as the animated cycles based on the children's drawings are projected, in such a way that the children return symbolically to that place that shelters in its walls and corridors, many of the memories of his life, the school, which is now empty and desolate, comes to life overnight. The drawings travel the school and meet each other, share and play until dawn, when the sunlight fades their presence.
Below you can find the photo gallery of the shoot, behind the camera and the visual previews of how the final animation will look.
video compilation 2020
In this video video created and edited by the Course Director Rosaura, she compiled all the play and learning activities that we did during the year and throughout the pandemic. It is a really moving video and I am very happy to have had the opportunity to accompany you during this year of so many changes.
